Starting by the start, the first 20 congress members are automatically elected by default, they are the first twenty citizens of each country and normally happens in the first days of the start of a server. You can see congress member by going to >Country and then, to >Congress .
You can think its too late to be a congress member, but dont worry, because you can present a candidacy.
You have 3 days to do it, the 21th, 22th and 23th of each month, you will get a new daily task that will be shown among the regular tasks, like training, work and battles.
Click it, and you will be redirected to the citizens of your country and, if they have one, their presentation,you need to write an article, a shout or even a text in other page to link it to be your presentation!. Then , you need to wait until the 25th day of the month, day in which all the citizens of a country will vote their favourite presentation, and, if your presentation was good enough, they will vote you! Remember that you still need to vote.
Laws: in this section we get the spicy things showing up, the laws are a essential things for countries, currently 8 laws that cover political, economic and militar aspects.
★Print money: as you can read, this law gives the option to print the country currency using gold that comes from the national treasury. Each currency cost 0.005 Gold , the minimal expendable value is 1 Gold , and the maximal is 1000 Gold , and after the law get accepted, the printed currency will be transfered to your local country treasury. So, by doing simple math you can know that every 1 Gold used is equivalent to, for example, 200 ARS
★Donate money: this law set an specific amount of any currency in the national treasury will be donated to a choosen citizen, either for buying currency or products from other countries. Keep in mind that the citizen that the gold will go to have to be a trusted player, because once the gold or currency is send, there is no way to get it back.
★Change taxes: in this law you can change the taxes applied to products sold in the market, if you choose this law, a options box will be shown, in which you need to choose what product change taxes to, you can change 1, 2 or even the 3 taxes, these are:
VAT(value-added tax): a tax that will automatically paid every time a product is sold.
Import tax: this is a specific tax that only applies whnen you sell a product in a different country, the price of a product is always the final price, so these mentioned taxes will be already charged.
Income tax: this tax is taken from the seller income of the product sold, not shown in the price at the market.
★Propose impeach: impeaching a presindent is the only way to get rid of him and his actions can not be done until a new president is elected, this law does not require the regular "more than 50%" to be selected, this law need at least a third of the votes to be elected.
★Elect president: this law can elect a new country president, it can be selected only under two circumstances, the selected citizen has to be part of the congress , and there are no presidents*.
*This happens when all the country presidents were impeached
★Propose welcome message: remember the message your local org sent to you? guess what, it is choosen by congressmen, in this law you can change the message sent to every new player of your country. You need to be careful about its content, you dont want any new player not understanding the game.
★Propose registration page message: this law change the message that show up when you are just creating your account, this can be a good advertising site, for MUs or companies.
★Propose fundraising for BB in your country: this law can only be proposed if theres not a already working fundraising, first, a BB (babyboom) is a period when the game receives an inclease of new players, by starting a fundraising, you willget the possibility to collect funds destined to make advertising in a specific country, there is a goal to set; if the goal have been reached, e-sim team will donae a 20% of the goal to make even more ads, the biggest donor will get his reflink figuring in the ads and he will get all the rewards, like 5 Gold for each player that reaches Level 7 and a Q1 armor every time a player reaches level 10. Lower donors still get rewards.
Society builder medal for a €2 or more donation.
Investor achievement for a €5 or more donation.
Bonus three medkis for a €20 or more donation.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
